17th Annual STARS OF LIFE AWARDS Banquet

The Pennsylvania EMS Provider Foundation will host the 17th Annual Stars of Life Awards Banquet on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in Harrisburg, PA.

STARS of LIFE RECOGNITION:

Do you have an outstanding staff member?  Has a member of your EMS agency

• gone above and beyond,
• set an example for others to follow,
• exemplified EMS in the community, 
• served honorable for decades,
• cared for a patient in a heroic or life-saving way?

This event is a great opportunity to recognize your provider in front of their peers from across the Commonwealth in a simple, yet grand setting.  The Stars of Life Award is a coveted symbol of gratitude presented to an EMS provider from an EMS provider - most likely by their agency Chief or Director.

Take a moment to consider honoring one of your own exceptional providers or colleagues and submit their nomination, today!

Room rate is $134.95 (plus taxes and includes breakfast Monday morning). Reservations can be made by calling 717-561-2800 and identifying yourself as part of the Pa EMS Provider Foundation event, or on their website. Deadline for reservations is August 9, 2024, however, the hotel may honor the $134.95 room rate as long as rooms are available.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

Christian Martin-Gill, MD, MPH

Dr. Christian Martin-Gill serves as Chief of the Division of EMS and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He has been a nationally registered paramedic for 25 years and works as an Emergency and EMS physician, as well as an EMS researcher. As Associate Medical Director of STAT MedEvac and UPMC Prehospital Care, he oversees an 18 base site critical care transport program and dozens of EMS agencies in Western Pennsylvania. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Prehospital Guidelines Consortium, a non-profit bringing together other national organizations to advanced evidence-based guidelines for prehospital care.

DINNER RESERVATIONS:

You must pre-register for this event. Deadline for reservations is August 28, 2024. Due to the nature of the event, we will not be able to accept walk-ins. Seating will be assigned and your seating information will be available at the door. If you would like to be seated with providers from your area, please indicate the company name on the registration form. Your reservation will include tickets to the event (a cash bar will be available all evening).

Cancellations made prior to August 28, 2024 will be subject to a $25.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations after August 28, 2024.
